Dr. Eileen Ross Veterinarian

Dr Eileen Ross

Dr. Eileen Ross has had a passion for animals since she was young and has always known she wanted to spend her life caring for them. She was raised in a house full of pets (including everything from dogs and cats to birds, turtles, and guinea pigs) and spent her days at the barn, riding and competitively showing horses.

Dr. Ross graduated with honors from Mississippi State University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, then moved home to Georgia to continue pursuing her goal of becoming a veterinarian. During her time in Athens, Dr. Ross worked as a veterinary assistant in shelter medicine and fostered several homeless pets, helping them find their forever homes.

After graduating with honors from the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Ross began her career as a small animal veterinarian in Cobb County. She has loved serving our community over the past few years and is excited to continue providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them as a part of the Mills Animal Hospital family.
Dr. Ross is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. She is passionate about practicing fear free medicine, and her special interests include internal medicine, preventative care, cardiology, and shelter medicine.

Dr. Ross and her husband, Sam, live in Marietta and share their home with 2 rescue cats, Eloise and Juniper. They adore Cavalier King Charles Spaniels thanks to their first beloved dog, Willow, and can’t wait to add another to their family. When she is not at work, Dr. Ross enjoys spending time with friends and her twin sister, live music, outdoor activities, and cheering on the Mississippi State bulldogs (because everybody needs more cowbell).
